Welcome to the first post of “Family DFW – Developing Future Wealthmakers.” In this article, we’re going to show you the first thing that clicked with the example of Jimmy and Margaret on our home page. We hope with what happened to Jimmy and Margaret will happen to you as well.
So many people want to do great things, but they don’t know how to pursue it.
As you can see with the picture, the number one thing that sets you on the path to wealth and greatness is the mindset. There’s nothing else that will keep you moving forward in this than a steady and concrete mindset that says “…no one will stop me in my pursuit of wealth, success, and greatness.”
Think on that for a few minutes.
What has stopped you in the past?
Was it circumstances? Family? Friends? The naysayers? Being in the wrong circle of friends?
Reflect on your life for a few minutes before you keep on reading.
Wherever you are in life is mostly based on the decisions you decided.
At times, there are things out of our control. But those are far and few in between that moves us in a different direction in life. About 95% of everything else was solely based on our decision – your decision.
What’s different this time around?
Maybe you landed on this site because you thought it was about families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Great guess but no. It’s about developing future wealthmakers – in specific our children. But if we don’t shape parents to think different, how will they shape their children to think different? They won’t think different, and they’ll repeat the cycle of job slavery. We have helped so many people start their own businesses. Whether it was helping someone write scripts for a new TV series, or a local business like limousine rental company or home pest control services, people are making big money with our advice. We hope to do the same with you today. But it starts here and it starts with the mindset.
There are so many resources out in the world today that can help you change the way you think. Here are a few that we recommend you get started on as soon as possible.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
10x by Grant Cardone.
One Minute Manager and Ken Blanchard.
Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer John.
That should be a great start for you now.
But as far as this post goes, this was just an intro of the vast amount of information that you are about to get swamped with. We hope you enjoy.
